Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location: Kane, Pennsylvania

Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Schedule: Two days on, two days off, three days on (rotating weekends)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a skilled nursing environment. This role involves supervising nursing services and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining a professional and caring atmosphere for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and record medications and treatments as ordered.
• Accurately transcribe physician orders and update care plans.
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants to ensure prescribed care plans are followed.
• Assist physicians during rounds and collect laboratory specimens.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR).
• Participate in care plan conferences and team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices and safety standards.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania (or temporary work permit).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, medical asepsis, and observation techniques.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively in emergencies.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Preferred

• Experience in nursing home or long-term care settings.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
